1955 Thunderbird, Body off the frame restoration started. Some $16,000 in receipts.
Original torch Red with Red & White interior. Body stripped, fitted and primed. Estimate, 2 more block sand + primer then paint. Floor panel and supports replaced. 292 V8-3 speed transmission. 5 wheels painted torch red + 4 new tires installed. Original hardtop in tach and not unassembled for restoration. Frame refinished + new A Frame front end bushings and front springs replaced. Wheel covers and many parts bagged, labeled and boxed. 1st picture is how this 1st year Thunderbird may look finished. |
