1955-56-57 Thunderbirds are unitized bodies (all 4 fenders are one unitized piece of metal)
Only the 1955-56-57 T-bird and the Porche speedster are know to be unitized all steel bodies in the 1950's
When Thunderbirds are subject to high humidity climates, the body and frame may rust from the inner structure out without a dehumifier installed nearby.

Kit has a small cyclindrical compressor with specially designed combination compressor-generator bracket which results in a very uncluttered installation. EITHER STYLE will fit all 1955 thru 1957. Bullets on rear clamps may need to be changed. Minter's will furnish & install in our restoration facility at no charge with the purchase of these original tops.
Note: Do not buy an original convertible top you have not seen in the up position on an Earlybird.
